In case you haven’t had a chance to look in depth into RFO fight card yet to see what you will be missing if you miss “Big Guns 19 Return To The Summit” this coming Saturday June 25th in Mansfield, Oh here is a preview. First of all you will be missing a chance to see one of the best MMA Pro/Am line-ups that promoter Matt Trukovich and matchmaker Scott Corbin has ever put together for a RFO event.
Chico Bays vs Luka Strezoski: *** Headlining the event will be Chico Bays vs Luka Strezoski. 26 year-old Luka Strezoski will be making his second professional MMA appearance in the cage. He had only 4 amateur fights before turning pro, but do not underestimate Luka. Ask anyone who has seen this guy in the cage and they will tell you that he is one very tough Serbian. He has been in the cage 5 times and has already shown that he can absolutely light up an opponent. This time however, he will be facing a very tough opponent. Bays who has only been defeated 3 times in his MMA career, each time as an amateur but never as a professional, has a pretty extensive background in all of the areas that makes him look better and better every time he steps into the cage. He can box, he can kick, and he can grapple. This match was made exclusively for a MMA main event.
Josh Longood -vs- Dru Schottenheimer (Co-Main Event): ***This won’t be the first time that Josh Longood and Dru Schottenheimer will be squaring off in the cage. The first time they fought was in February of 2014 when they were amateurs. Longood stopped Schottenheimer 3 seconds before the end of the 2nd round with a rear naked choke. Both fighters will be stepping into the cage undefeated as pros. Longood will be looking to extend his perfect pro MMA record to 4 – 0. Schottenheimer will be looking to even the score with Longood and win his second pro fight in a row.
JT Miller -vs- AJ Dobson: ***For the co-main event the stage is set for JT Miller who has fought 7 times (6 as an amateur and once as a professional) and has never lost. AJ Dobson will be making his pro MMA debut. Dobson will be leaving behind an amateur record of 7 wins and only 1 loss. His MMA career victories include 7 wins in a row. This match was made to give you a chance to see one of the best kinds of MMA matches – a fighter who is looking to win his first MMA pro match and the other fighter who is looking to extend his pro match to 2 in a row.
Kenny Locsei -vs- Marc McDonald: ***Kenny Locsei and Marc McDonald will be stepping into the cage for a big showdown. Locsei will be making his pro debut against McDonald who won his pro debut 9 months ago. Locsei will be leaving behind a perfect amateur record of 5 wins and no losses. He stopped 3 of his opponents in the 1st rounds, 1 in the 2nd round and took the decision over 1 of his opponents. But if you know anything about McDonald, you know this will be a match you do not want to miss. McDonald began his amateur MMA career back in February of 2013, fought 8 times that year and won all but one. He fought 5 times in 2014, won 3 and lost 2. He fought his pro debut 9 months ago and won. This could be the most exciting match of the night.
Jeffrey Pelton -vs- Cameron VanCamp: ***This should be a good fight. Jeffrey Pelton will be stepping into the cage looking to add another win to his undefeated pro record by making this his 3rd win in a row. His opponent Cameron VanCamp will be looking to win his 4th pro fight in a row by stopping Pelton.
