Isaiah Chapman (2-0) has been on the radar as one of the top prospects in Ohio for awhile now, but the bantamweight put himself in a new class with his most recent victory.
Chapman headed to West Virginia for the first time, where he squared off with Joe Wagner (0-1), a former top prospect in his own right who was making his return to the cage after a lengthy layoff.
Chapman spoiled Wagner’s return to the cage, by landing a left head kick in the first round to earn the knockout win.
Chapman will return to the cage on Friday, when he takes on former NAAFS title challenger Mike Nesto (4-5) in the co-main event at “NAAFS: Rock N Rumble 6.”
