The main event for next month’s Purgatory Fight Series 08 is set, as heavyweights Rick Day (3-0) and Justin Woods (1-0) will square off in the headliner at the event in Toledo.

A Northwest Ohio native, Day comes in looking to extend his perfect record. After debuting with a knockout victory over Nathan Bryant in January, Day has also earned victories over Bobby Gurley and Aaron Ware in recent months.

After amassing a 5-0 amateur record that included three first round knockouts, the Indiana native Woods is looking to add another knockout to his record after knocking out Chris Smith in his pro debut, which took place in January.

Other notable fighters are also expected to be part of the event, including Jake Draves, Matt Montalvo, and Andrew Huffman.

Purgatory FS 08 takes place at the Lucas County Rec Center on September 8.
