RFO will return to Mansfield on September 22, as “Mansfield Mayhem 13″ is set to take place at the Richland County Fairgrounds.
In the main event, Quinton Cooperider (8-0) will drop to featherweight for the third time, as he is set to face Josh Longood (4-0) for the organization’s 145-pound title. Fresh off of winning the Ohio MMA Championships at lightweight, Cooperider looks for his eighth consecutive victory via stoppage. Longood also looks to stay unbeaten and also looks for his fifth submission victory in five outings.
Also set for the event is a welterweight matchup featuring Niles Hootman (4-0) taking on John Gunther (4-1). Hootman was slated to take on Jake Anderson for the RFO welterweight title at “Mansfield Mayhem 12″ in June, but he was injured and Gunther stepped in as a late replacement, eventually being submitted by Anderson.
Other notable fighters slated for the event are Nick Stuff (3-0), Chris Trippi (6-0), Cory Ruthsatz (7-4), and Levi Gwinup (2-0) in separate bouts.

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn’t this third time Cooperider has been at Featherweight? Thought I saw him win and defend Arnold’s Amateur Festival Featherweight Title?

TK421: Yes, this will be the third time that cooperider has faught @145. It is a relatively easy cut for him and he is comfortable at both 145 & 155!
