Yankee Lake Brawlroom returned in Brookfield, Ohio last night, and seven bouts were part of the card. Two title bouts headlined the event.
In the headliner, John Antanitis (8-3) returned to action just two weeks after picking up a win over Steve Burton at “Fight Nite in the Flats 8″ to successfully defend his Yankee Lake middleweight title for the first time since winning it in 2010. Antanitis defeated Jordan Batt (3-2) with strikes in the first round after securing a crucifix position. The win is the fourth in a row for the 29-year-old.
In welterweight action, Donnie Cameron (8-4-1) finally claimed a title after three unsuccessful title bouts in the past. Cameron submitted Yanke Lake champion Jared Zarlingo (6-3) with a guillotine in the second round to claim the title. The loss snaps a four-fight winning streak for Zarlingo.
Other winners included Bob Bianchini (3-2), Dino Juklo (1-0), Travis List (2-0), Yvegen Slipko (1-0), and Ralph Graham (1-1).
