Lightweight Tyler Combs (13-9-1, 0-0 BFC) has been injured and was forced to withdraw from his bout with Jason Dent (22-12, 0-0 BFC) at Friday’s Bellator 66 event in Cleveland.

Sources close to the fight notified GatewayMMA.com of the change earlier tonight.

Combs is riding a three-fight losing streak, and he was coming in looking for his first win since 2010.

Dent had snapped a three-fight losing streak of his own less than two weeks ago when he picked up a submission victory at an event in Iowa.

Bellator 66 will be headlined by a lightweight rematch between former Bellator champion Eddie Alvarez and current DREAM champion Shinya Aoki and will also feature local fighters Brian Rogers, Jessica Eye, Dan Spohn, Donny Walker, and more.
