The NAAFS made its highly anticipated debut in West Virginia last night with the sold out “Caged Fury 16″ in Morgantown, and the night full of pro bouts featured nine finishes in 11 bouts.

UFC veteran Sean McCorkle (14-2) submitted Mike Gordon (4-1) in the first round of the night’s headliner, his fourth consecutive first round stoppages since getting cut from the UFC last year.

Joey Holt (3-0) continued his meteoric rise since turning pro last year, as he capitalized off of his flying knee knockout over Clint Musser at Bellator 51 with another first round knockout, this time over Nate Hall.

Top female prospect Ashley Cummins (2-0) notched another win, defeating Team Gurgel’s Stephanie Frausto (1-3) via unanimous decision in the first women’s MMA bout in West Virginia history.

Josh Stansbury (3-2) likely locked in a light heavyweight title shot, and Brandon Saling (7-5) got back on the winning track with a knockout over Mickey Hughes (5-6).

Former NAAFS amateur heavyweight champion Rick Day (1-0) notched his first pro win with a highlight reel head kick knockout over Nathan Bryant (0-1), and Jason Cardillo (2-0) stayed unbeaten with a neck crank submission over Zac Gobel (0-1).
