Good things come to those who wait! NAAFS Pro Series Featherweight champion Donny Walker (14-6)  has been waiting patiently for a shot at the big leagues for some time now without getting the call to the UFC. Walker’s manager and head trainer Jason Dent (a UFC veteran himself) has been working tirelessly to get Walker a shot inside the Octagon, and today, all of that work has paid off. Walker and Dent have each confirmed that Walker signed a four-fight contract to fight in the UFC after amassing a seven-fight win streak over the last three years. Walker last fought Strikeforce veteran Billy Vaughan in December, where Walker successfully defended his NAAFS title with a rear naked choke.

Walker will not be waiting any longer; in fact, Walker is slated to make his debut in the Octagon on July 2nd at UFC 132, where he will face off against Jeff “Hellbound” Hougland (9-4) in a bantamweight tilt. Hougland has fought intermittently since 2002, and has put together an 8 bout win streak, 6 of which were by stoppage.

UFC 132 will take place on July 2nd,and will be headlined by a Bantamweight Title fight between Dominick Cruz and Urijah Faber.
